Payless recently removed bathtub/shower and installed walk-in shower in my house and also my daughter's condo. The installer, Jarvi, did an amazing job. He is very attentive to detail to ensure that it looks great.  Took two days to complete the entire removal and installation at my house and two days at my daughter's condo. The sales person, Jeanette was also excellent. Took her time to explain the process and made good suggestions regarding colors, materials, hardware, etc. My daughter and I have only one complaint....the frequent phone calls from the project manager were VERY annoying.  When I called Jeanette about it, she said they've had too many instances of setting appointments for inspection, installation, etc and customers flaking out, not being home at the agreed upon day/time. Could not be happier with our shower & bath remodel. We first met with Tigran who was super friendly and knowledgeable and helped us decide on design and materials - he was honest and upfront about everything and did not try to upsell. The price may not be the cheapest estimate you will get, but ultimately we felt the most confident with it; that everything necessary was truly included and there wouldn't be any hidden costs later on and confidence that the quality would be excellent. Everything after that went just as smooth. The project manager Michael was helpful and communicative and made sure everything went according to plan the whole way. The main installers arrived on time each day and did an excellent but quick job. Just 2 and a half days for everything but the glass! Then the glass installers finished it off, measuring the next day to ensure perfection and completing the job in just an hour a few days later; no long wait for glass to come in. I recently completed a full kitchen remodel with Payless Kitchen Cabinets, which included new cabinetry, tile flooring, countertops, sink installation, and appliance coordination. Overall, I had a positive experience and am very happy with how the space turned out. The finished kitchen feels elevated and cohesive. The olive green cabinetry paired with matte black hardware, a farmhouse sink, quartz countertops, and a soft neutral backsplash came together beautifully. The installation was clean and professionally executed, and the space feels both functional and warm. The team was professional, on time, and respectful of my home throughout the project. There were a few items I needed to point out near completion, but once raised, they addressed them promptly and without hesitation. I especially want to recognize Tina, the project coordinator. She truly kept the project together. She was extremely communicative, addressed issues as they arose, and consistently followed up to ensure I was satisfied. Her responsiveness and organization made a significant difference throughout the remodel. The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five relates to scope clarity around materials. During the flooring portion, I was asked to purchase certain tile installation materials, such as backer board and mortar, which I had assumed would be included as part of the installation. Clearer communication upfront regarding what materials were included versus homeowner-supplied would have helped avoid that surprise. I recently visited the showroom of Payless Kitchen and Bath in Glendale, CA. The woman at the front desk was kind and professional. It was great to see the different cabinet, countertop, and backsplash options that they have available, especially because they were displayed like real kitchens, not just small samples. I was surprised to see flooring options in each of the mock kitchens as well as some carpet samples for the other rooms in my house. As for bathroom ideas, they had full size examples of showers as well which made it easy to envision in my house. Fun place to work Pros:Great work environment! The people here, from entry level to management, are really nice and helpful. We have weekly meetings and everyone can share their experience, knowledge, and ideas which can help you do your job easier. The pay is average but the growth is self paced which is awesome for those who aim climbing up the ladder. Cons:They only pay 10 holiday rates which is kind off sad. Payless kitchen advertised great prices and they were lower than all the other contractors we asked. They do say that those prices are only valid for their first visit, so make sure you're ready to sign up when you have them show up to measure and create a plan, but they're worth calling because they've got lowest prices we could find, the work they did was perfect, and everything was a very organized package service. The cabinets and countertops are really great and were measured and installed perfectly. They worked with us helping us find all the options we wanted. They rushed to meet deadlines we had from working with other contractors, and they were happy to help us even though we changed the layout and options several times during our project. They even met us at a slab yard to show us the different full countertops when we had trouble deciding from the samples. I would absolutely use them again for any future kitchen project.

He was in a professional in working with us and we highly recommend this company. We worked with Carlos as our PM, and he is such a great guy, very kind and patient with our questions and concerns. He set up all the schedules for the cabinet and counter teams to come out. Arayik the cabinet team leader was great! He worked hard to make things right. The countertop team is amazing, so skilled and everything turned out better than we expected. Thankfully, some close friends had just had a complete remodel on their kitchen and couldn't stop raving about the company they used, Payless Kitchen Cabinets. We set up an appointment and Haig the design specialist came out to meet with us. Haig was great to work with, he listened to what we wanted, worked with our budget, and understood the timeline we needed things to get done by. Haig genuinely cared about what we needed and we felt like we could trust him, so we decided to move forward with him. It turned out beautifully. There are not enough words to adequately express the gratitude and satisfaction we received working with the team at Payless Kitchen Cabinets. Some of the lowest prices in the market was obviously the first attention getter, but setting up an apt with Dvaq and seeing the quality of the product, there was no doubt we found the right place. At our first meeting, he provided us with some preliminary sketches and great design ideas. We had already compared two other companies, and honestly felt ready to move forward with Dvaq. We were then introduced to our coordinator, Carlos. Carlos is one of the most patient individuals I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, he listened without ever interrupting, accommodated some of our additional requests and provided excellent service. As the project progressed, we ended up changing some of the design elements a few times. Carlos provided his expert advice and asked very relevant questions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Carlos was really so easy to work with. Whenever we needed something, he was very quick to provide it. Payless Kitchen Cabinet is the right choice and I wholeheartedly recommend and refer them to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen. And there is no one better than Dvaq & Carlos to be on your side when you tackle such major decision and project as a kitchen remodel! Dvaq’s calm presence helped to remove all the stress and anxiety of making such a big decision. I was convinced to go ahead with Payless Kitchen Cabinets because of their clear process. They mapped out exactly what was going to happen with the project, it was a nice, clean, guiding map that reassured me that they knew what they’re doing. I called other companies, and they HOUNDED me after I met with them asking if I’m ready to move forward with them. It was the opposite with Payless, they contacted me, made sure I was feeling comfortable, never pressured me to make a decision, and that warm and welcoming attitude is what set them apart from the rest. The organization of how things were going to go is why I decided to hire a company rather than follow the DIYers, it’s a lot of different things, and I really wanted the guidance and support of a professional. This company adhered to their process and made this remodeling experience a very positive transformation. From the demo team to the backsplash team, I got to deal with organized, well trained, experienced professionals that respected my home and my needs. Thank you for your help.
